Rihanna has unveiled her last collection for River Island can't believe is the last one. She has definitely left on a high as much as i love Rihanna this collection is by far the best. The 80 piece collection incorporates a mix of urban sports luxe with a city chic which represents Rihanna personal taste rather than designing for the high street.
As we seen on this season hottest catwalk trends, Rihanna had definitely in mind the party season when she created the glittering dresses, strappy heels and the skintight skirts. There is plenty of metallic, tartan, camouflage which seems to be Rihanna favorite and floral, stripes, wet looking fabric and denim leathers.
Bang on trend this season is all about experiment with colours as traditionally fashion in winter season was all about black and black. Tartan is back in a big way from fashion designers filling the catwalk with patterns and tartan this winter nearly every high street store sell it.
Bomber jackets, cropped hoodies and printed camo snakeskin leather skirts make up the limited edition collection.
According to The Telegraph, River Island CEO Bernard Lewis, said: 'We've had a an amazing year working with Rihanna. 'She's been an inspiration for our creative teams to work with and we've been constantly impressed by the amount of time and energy she's invested in the project.'
She has definitely raised the stores profile here and abroad. From watching her River Island launch and giving 4 lucky winners a style tip she has shown the world how hands on she is with anything she does. She has set the bar high for any designers/celebrity for her amazing collection.
The collection will be available in store and online from 7th of November and for Pre-Order on the 31st of October which is tomorrow.
